Migrated from HNAS version 11.2.3319.14 to 11.3.3450.14 and encountered problems immediately with Virus scanners not responding to request for scan from HNAS. Currently using RPC/SMB connections between scanners and HNAS and scanners are installed on Vmware Windows 2008 systems.
Scanners eventually de-register themselves with HNAS and once our four scanners de-register, no file sharing activity is available.

----Virus scan engine has registered on EVS
----7461 Warning Virus scan engine has deregistered on EVS
We originally had the same problem with HNAS Version 10.2 , which was the initial installed version. After many months of back and fro, HDS to Macfee, an upgrade to 11.2.3319.14, magically fixed the problem.
I would like to know if there is any other companies out there with similar HNAS versions and Mcafee, who have encountered problems and solved them..
