I have collected the pir data using pir --no-file-system command, email server is not configured on my HNAS box.
Where do i find these logs, i mean the location.
They're under /home/manager. When you SSH to the SMU, press q on the initial screen.
If SMTP is not configured then its better to collect the PIR from the SMU.
1. Identify your node IP address
Cluster node ID = 1
## IP Address Mask Port
-- --------------- --------------- ----------
1 172.24.20.59 255.255.255.0 eth0
2 172.24.20.60 255.255.255.0 eth1
Cluster node ID = 2
1 172.24.20.61 255.255.255.0 eth0
2 172.24.20.62 255.255.255.0 eth1
Your configuration might be different as you might have only the eth1 configured with a private ip address. Then in your case you need to use this eth1 ip address.
2. In this example we will collect PIR from Node 1. Next we exit to the SMU shell.
1) 172.24.20.63 HNAS-3080-1
Please choose a server, or type 'q' to exit to a bash shell.
[manager@ib-hnas-vsmu ~]$ ssc -u supervisor 172.24.20.60 "pir --no-file-system --to-ssc 10"
PIR "Performance Info Report" now started; statistics logging will run for 10 minutes.
PIR "Performance Info Report" gathering up old information...
PIR "Performance Info Report" logging statistics...
PIR "Performance Info Report" almost complete; collecting obj debug log and collecting profiles and generating emails...
Wrote 2.198 MB (2305073 B) in 55 ms at 39.97 MB/s (41910418 B/s)
Downloaded PIR to HNAS-3080-1_pir_2015-07-15_1516+0300.tgz
[pir took 12.75 min.]
Once this is done, you will find the PIR file on the SMU inside the home directory of manager /home/manager.
[manager@ib-hnas-vsmu ~]$ ls
[manager@ib-hnas-vsmu ~]$ pwd
Use WinSCP to download this file.
Have the two replies above helped you find the logs? If so, please mark this reply. Thanks.
